Here's a look at Timeless Path, a drawing which won a smally Merit Award at a city exhibition in Atlanta, GA during the 1996 Summer Olympics.
As a native Georgian, I was happy to represent the state of Georgia in a world event with so many other artists, and was amazed that two of my drawings were accepted--Moonbeam Lake was on display also, and is from a 1995 picture book for children titled, Silvery Tree Path. I am, as you see, all about paths, as well as masks!
My drawings from this period are embossed with aluminum pencil, and this visionary scene is from a series whose copyright, 'Unscene World' is on the verge of being revived--I'm in a cosmic mood, m'peops.
Metallic pencil embossing, which is poo-pooed by many, gives even more depth--quite a 3-D effect--when used on black paper.
But see what you think, and let me know! Should I revive Unscene World?
